The day before school was a gorgeous CNY day. After we dropped off school supplies at my son's class, we headed to the Lysander Spray Park. The kids had been asking to go for a long time, and I wanted to bring them before school started. The kids had a great time. The spray park is located to the right when you come into the main entrance of the Town Park. There is plenty of parking. The spray park has 8 benches for caregivers to sit on, it is fenced in, which is awesome! There was an attendant from the park there. The water features are a butterfly, flowers, a mist feature, and a feature that allows you to spray your friends. There are no changing rooms, but they should be coming next season. My kids came in their swimsuits, and we changed in the restrooms.
For September, the spray park is open from 12-5 daily, weather permitting. I am not sure how much longer it will be open. Contact the Parks and Recreation to find out specifically. One exception to the 12-5 hours is tonight. They are having fireworks and the spray park will be open until 7, fireworks at 8!
