Learn about your Library

Liverpool Public Library

By Alyssa Knutti May 1, 2019

In this new feature, I am focusing on the libraries in our area. This week's library is Liverpool Public Library

Located at 310 Tulip Street, Liverpool NY 13088. Their hours are M-Th 9am-9pm; F 9am-6pm; Sa 10am-5pm; and Su 12-5pm. They are closed Sundays in the summer months.  There is an extensive collection of books, media and ebooks. The library allows you to sign up rooms for meetings, events and others. The library is currently going under renovations; so some rooms may not be available. The library is settled in the village of Liverpool, near the Village mall. The children's area is big and has lots of new books. The children's area has a train running over it. There are teen programs and also homeschool programs. Quite a variety offered for children and teens.

Their website shows all of the details of the programs offered, and a calendar of events. The volunteers and librarians are very nice, and helpful. If you're in Liverpool, check out the library. Have you been to this library? What is your favorite part?

Next week, we will focus on the Northern Onondaga Public Library-Cicero Branch
