In Honor of Read Across America Week

My Children's Favorite Bedtime Stories

By Alyssa Knutti February 26, 2019

This week (February 25-March 2) is Read Across America. It celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday.

To celebrate this week, I am sharing my children's favorite bedtime stories and books.

Dominic, Age 6:

  • Bad Kitty books by Nick Bruel (he loves reading them and has read most of the series)
  • Good Night, Good Night Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker (this was one of his favorites when he was little)
  • Roadwork by Sally Sutton (Also one of his favorites when he was little)

Cecilia, Age 4:

  • Pinkalicious books by Victoria Kann
  • Hotel Bruce,Mother Bruce and Santa Bruce, all by Ryan T. Higgins
  • Any fairy tale or princess story.

What are your child's favorite books or stories for bedtime?  I hope these gave you some ideas for more books if you haven't read them yet.
