This weekend, my daughter and I started a new tradition for Valentine's Day. Normally, I just get my kids a card and some candy. This year I wanted to try something new. We baked heart shaped cookies. It was a lot of fun. She and I had our 'girls' time, and we got to start a new fun thing for Valentine's Day.
Some other ideas we have tried either at home or at the local library are:
- heart wreaths
- love bugs
- heart shaped pizza
- one favorite treat is the Strawberry Frosted Donuts with the heart shaped sprinkles at Dunkin' Donuts, my daughter loves them.
